Imagine looking at one image that needs to be re-shaped, re-lived, re-born, re-main. Like separating scent layers that make up a fragrance, (sequences) is a deconstruction over four evenings. The character of PRICE echoes a product - of, for, about, through, and resisting time. Invested in the construction of sincere affect without interest in authenticity, PRICE and his extensive roster of collaborators reorganise and present accumulated materials. The force of language performs a deception of affect, drawing attention to the scenario as a technological prosthetic. PRICE, Ivan Cheng, Thibault Lac, Camille Cléadon Decraux, Tamara Alegre, Cecile Believe and Bonnie Banane stage a continuous remodeling of the self, in a performance oscillating between installation and choreographed drama, for a prolonged duration. Through a set of rhythmic phrases, they exaggerate and amplify emotions to better reflect and distort the greedy desire for performance in our contemporary society.

Repetition As Nostalgic Attachment On Violence (sequences)
PRICE, Ivan Cheng, Thibault Lac, Camille Cléadon Decraux, Tamara Alegre, Cecile Believe and Bonnie Banane display a continuous re-shaping of the self. Oscillating between installation and choreographed drama for a prolonged duration, the individuals exaggerate and amplify ‘emotion’ over a set of rhythmic phrases. A contemporary desire for constant performance is reflected and distorted.

The Interesting (sequences)
PRICE, Ivan Cheng, Thibault Lac, Camille Cléadon Decraux, Tamara Alegre, Cecile Believe and Bonnie Banane display a set of five solos in succession, each similar to the other. The stage is entered as a site of sense memory. The audience has the opportunity to get a closer look at the individual, beyond witnessing the group.
