For this short theatre project, very different young people come together and ask themselves the question: when do I belong and what do I stand alone with? What do I share with others and what do I not share?
They negotiate which experiences, opinions and biographical circumstances make them part of the majority and which do not. They think about what they would like to be part of and, if necessary, adapt to in order to belong to the group. They look for issues where they proudly stand alone and then turn it around so that they feel excluded from the same position. Then they all swap roles, take on other characters and suddenly find themselves where they never expected to be.
Ali, Paar, Niemerd is a project by LAB Junges Theater Zürich in collaboration with Junges Schalktheater and Gessnerallee.
