Backslash Festival returns after a two-year hiatus and once again invites a broad audience to engage in a unique interweaving of art disciplines from performance and dance to music and visual arts over two nights.
During the festival weekend, around 35 primarily young artists from Switzerland and abroad will create a wide range of interventions somewhere between contemplative introspection and ecstatic raves beyond conventional genre boundaries, spread across three spaces.
What if the boundaries between fact and fiction, feelings and emotions, words and sensory information were blurred? What if we collectively formed moments, immersed ourselves in the bliss of applied utopias and brought forth the possibility of a break, a ceasefire, a breathing space, a moment of togetherness?
