In the experiment project 2022/23 the LAB Junges Theater Zürich nests in the Gessnerallee for a week. We investigate the premises for all sorts of interesting things, visit the people who work there, look behind and in front of the "scenes". We get into conversation with the people, let ourselves be inspired by this place, its features, qualities and characteristics. What do we notice? What does it smell like on stage the morning after a performance? Why is the floor in stall 6 not horizontal? Who closes the doors in the evening? What does it sound like in the office when a performance is running and what choreography does the audience follow when queuing?
From our collected aesthetic experiences we create our own scenes and creative ideas and present them in a work show, which we will show on February 25 before the guest performance of Tiran Willemse.
