«colonial Walk» is a performative walk through the city on the themes of colonialism and racism. In honor of George Floyd and all victims of racist police violence, Experi Theater invites you to a «colonial Walk» through the streets of Zurich on May 25 and the following two days, dealing with the topic of racial profiling and racist police violence.
The starting point of the «colonial Walk» is the Blackbox - a performative Black*BIPOC space in the middle of the city. Blackbox stands with "Black Lives Matter" and its political context and exchanges, enabling a space to discuss different interrelated narratives of blackness and injustice.
Meeting point: Blackbox Zurich @ Blackbox-Platz (Gessnerallee/Sihlstrasse).
