Nikita Maheshwary
Originally from India, Nikita Maheshwary is a choreographer and researcher based in The Netherlands. Her art inquiries lie at the nexus of gender, culture, and identity. Through her work, she is deeply invested in telling stories of plurality, female agency, forms of marginalisation and class divide. Since 2018, Nikita is engaged in her artistic research project Naachne-wali: The Dancing Girl which has materialised into two performances and a recent publication Dear You, Yours Lovingly Me.
