Loucka Elie Fiagan’s practice is at the intersection of poetry, dance, music and video. Having had a bachelor degree in Sociology at university Saint Louis, a Masters in the Royal Academy of Bozarts, Loucka Elie Fiagan is a multidisciplinary artist who founded five years ago the performative duo called wedntknwyet alongside with Oscar Cassamajor. Alongside with Castélie Yalombo and Oscar Cassamojor, he created the JAN, a collective organisation which has the intention of establishing a foundation for community work that supports creatives, young and adult, emotionally, structurally and creatively. The collective centers itself around the practices of arts, permactultures, body therapy and decolonial questions. He is member of the publishing house le Mot:Lame, a collective of young writers created by Nathaniel Molamba, with whom he has collaborated in a number of collective reviews. Under the name of SVDU, Loucka composes and performs abstract hip hop music, a branch of rap which is strongly influenced by spoken word lyricism.
