Heartcoregirl
Heartcoregirl is a vocalist and visual artist from Glasgow, she plays with poetic imagery and lyricism on the blips of happiness in her life, between moments of trauma and bliss. Her music creates a sensuous atmosphere, playing with aesthetics to make an immersive heartcore world.
Whilst being heavily influenced by the shoegeaze she grew up listening to - her vocals are simultaneously like a dissonant sweet vocaloid entity and dreamy lullabies from a far away time, alongside lush guitar riffs by New York’s boys in blush and a range of other collaborators.
For her live shows, a doll-like character and entity is performed - playing with tropes of online culture, embracing sexuality from her time as a stripper, bittersweet and emotional.
